IMAT (Images and That) Photography Carmarthenshire is the home of award winning photographer John Burton. John is passionate about images and photographs.

In 2008 John was the winner of the Renaissance Photography Prize and his entry was described by Eamonn McCabe as being 'technically accomplished' and by Mary McCartney 'an incredibly engaging image'. John has won numerous other prizes, is widely published and has been exhibited at Proud Galleries in London.

John Burton has now retired from commercial photography and 'retired' to Carmarthenshire in Wales. Whilst not offering formal photography services anymore he will be undertaking personal projects. As an experienced traveller (he ran a trekking business in Nepal) he is available to lead photography tours and private tuition. John has also started photographing the natural landscapes around him in Wales. Click on the photo below to see more of his Welsh landscape photography.
